The Norwich Eagles were the 57-37 winner over the Oxford Wildcats when they last played one another back in March of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Norwich fell 64-54 to Oxford on Monday.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Oxford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kellen Green, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Cordell Jordan was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with 6 assists and 6 rebounds.
Norwich's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Oxford, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Argonia the next time they take the court. Oxford will host Argonia at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Norwich will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
