South Kitsap has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The South Kitsap Wolves and the Juanita Ravens will round out the year against one another at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday at. South Kitsap will be strutting in after a victory while Juanita will be coming in after a loss.
South Kitsap has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matches by 35 points or more this season. They really took it to Stadium for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-20 victory at home. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 32-12.
Kamdyn Hagerty continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with eight rebounds and seven blocks. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of South Kitsap's points. Another player making a difference was Peyton Evans, who scored five points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Juanita's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Burlington-Edison.
South Kitsap's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5. As for Juanita, they bumped their record down to 2-5 with that loss, which was their third straight at home.
