The Twin Valley Wildcats will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Spaulding Crimson Tide at 7:00 p.m. Hopefully Twin Valley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Saturday.
Twin Valley's three-game losing streak came to an end. They managed a 58-54 win over Rivendell Academy. The victory was just what Twin Valley needed coming off of a 54-28 loss in their prior match.
Twin Valley found their leader in underclassman Brayden Brown, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and ten assists. Cody Magnant was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Spaulding, who are still winless after their ninth contest. They were the victim of a rough 72-48 loss at the hands of Harwood on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Spaulding has suffered since December 9, 2023.
Twin Valley's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-4. As for Spaulding, they have fallen quite a ways from their 21-1 record last season and are now at 0-9.
