After starting their season with three straight games on the road, Denver North is finally coming home. They will look to take advantage of their home-field as they take on the Vista PEAK Prep Bison at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Even though they lost, Denver North was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as The Academy only posted a batting average of .259.
Meanwhile, while Vista PEAK Prep put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for Overland. Vista PEAK Prep blew past Overland 12-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bison.
Amara Herrera was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and only one hit while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Herrera was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs and a triple.
In other batting news, Nia Mathis was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Jaya Gray, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, a triple, and an RBI.
Denver North now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Vista PEAK Prep, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Vista PEAK Prep's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Denver North has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 6.7 strikeouts per game.
