After flying high against Friendship last Tuesday, Fillmore came back down to earth. The Fillmore Eagles took a 74-70 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Finney Falcons. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Falcons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2021.
Fillmore's defeat dropped their record down to 17-3. As for Finney, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.
Fillmore has already played their next match, a 75-38 victory against Rochester Academy on the 15th. Finney does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
