Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only the Bowdon Red Devils walked away with it. They won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the Blue Devils 28-27. The victory was nothing new for Bowdon as they're now sitting on 13 straight.
Kyler Mcgrinn was his usual excellent self, rushing for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 7.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 60 yards and a touchdown while completing 77.8% of his passes. He hasn't dropped below 100 rushing yards for four straight games.
Bowdon pushed their record up to 13-2 with that win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. They've been dominating during the games in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 27.36 points. As for Manchester, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.
Bowdon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Manchester also has no future games currently scheduled.
