In what's become a running theme this season, the Silsbee Tigers gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They really took it to Vidor for the full four quarters, racking up a 100-54 win at home. The win was nothing new for Silsbee as they're now sitting on five straight.
Silsbee's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Dre'lon Miller, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Jared Harris, who almost dropped a triple-double on 16 points, ten rebounds, and nine assists.
Silsbee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. As for Vidor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-14.
Silsbee will head out on the road to challenge Lumberton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lumberton will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 925th, while Silsbee is ranked 132nd). As for Vidor, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Little Cypress-Mauriceville at 7:00 p.m. Little Cypress-Mauriceville is no doubt hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
