Basketball Recap: Westlake Extends Winning Streak to Four

Westlake waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 41-34 win over the Bay Rockets. 41 seems to be a good number for the Demons as the team scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.

Westlake got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Liana Ostrowski out in front who posted 11 points along with seven boards and three steals. Ella Henton was another key player, putting up nine points and six rebounds.

Westlake pushed their record up to 15-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points over those games. As for Bay, their loss dropped their record down to 11-10.

Westlake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bay, they will head out to square off against Firelands at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
