The LaBelle Cowboys/Cowgirls will venture away from home to square off against the Evangelical Christian Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. LaBelle is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season.
LaBelle made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Avon Park, but they still couldn't quite topple them. LaBelle was the clear victor by an 11-5 margin over Avon Park on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Cowboys/Cowgirls sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Ty Murray, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. He has become a key player for LaBelle: the team is undefeated when he posts at least one home run, but 7-8 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson White, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Evangelical Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They won by a run and slipped past Mariner 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Sentinels as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.
Harrison Martin spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits.
At the plate, Anthony Cabrera was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Nick Tobia, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
LaBelle pushed their record up to 11-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games. As for Evangelical Christian, their record now sits at 9-11.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. LaBelle has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Evangelical Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
LaBelle took their victory against Evangelical Christian in their previous meeting back in February by a conclusive 10-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for LaBelle since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
