The Downtown Doral Dolphins can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak thanks to their game on Monday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 81-25 win over International Studies. Downtown Doral's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
It was another big night for Juan Diego Castro, who scored 21 points. He hasn't dropped below 15points for five straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Fabian Morantinos, who scored 11 points.
Downtown Doral's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-12. As for International Studies, they bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road.
Downtown Doral will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Pinecrest Glades Academy at 3:30 p.m. As for International Studies, they will head out on the road to challenge Everglades Prep Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
