If the MaxPreps state rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Eureka. They will challenge Parkway South on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Eureka are coming into the game hot, having won four in a row.
Eureka were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Lafayette 56-17. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 0-49, which was the final score in Parkway South's tilt against Marquette.
Eureka's victory lifted them to 4-0 while Parkway South's loss dropped them down to 1-3. We'll find out if Eureka can add another positive mark to their record or if Parkway South can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Eureka's step.
