Springfield Renaissance has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 210 points over their last three matches.
Springfield Renaissance stacked a 12th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They took their matchup at home with ease, bagging a 71-36 victory over Ludlow. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 42-11.
Springfield Renaissance got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Zi'yan Wallace out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Maya Ocana-saunders, who scored 15 points along with seven steals.
Meanwhile, Southwick Regional beat Granby 41-31 on January 11th. The win was just what Southwick Regional needed coming off of a 67-34 defeat in their prior match.
Springfield Renaissance pushed their record up to 15-0 with that victory, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Southwick Regional, their win bumped their record up to 1-2.
Everything came up roses for Springfield Renaissance against Southwick Regional when the teams last played on January 5th as the team secured a 67-34 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Springfield Renaissance since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
