After losing to Olympus the last time they met, Jordan decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Beetdiggers were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Titans on Friday. The Beetdiggers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by seven runs or more this season.

KADE CARTER spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one walk in five consecutive appearances.

At the plate, CJ SUMNER was a standout: he went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. JOSEPH PEAK was another key player, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Jordan was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Jordan is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.3 runs over those games. As for Olympus, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-7.
