The Little Elm Lobos's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Friday after their third straight  defeat. They fell just short of McKinney by a score of  62-60. The  defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Little Elm in their matchups with McKinney: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Little Elm's loss  came despite strong showings from  Kensington Candler and  Camron Brown.  Candler  scored 19 points, while  Brown  scored 19 points. Another player making a difference was  Brock Daly, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 Little Elm has  been struggling recently as they've  lost nine of their last 11 matchups,  which put a noticeable dent in their 14-17 record  this season. As for McKinney, the  win was  the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-8.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Little Elm will  face off against Guyer at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Little Elm has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 192 points over their last three contests. As for McKinney, they will head out on the road to  face off against  Rock Hill at 7:15  p.m.  on Tuesday. Hopefully McKinney is not getting complacent considering they own a much higher rank  in Texas (they are ranked 26th, while Rock Hill is ranked 165th).
