The Madison Jaguars's four-game losing streak came to an end on Saturday. They strolled past Marksville with points to spare, taking the game 61-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Madison also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.
Leading Madison to victory were Amarrion White and B Vaughn. White scored 16 points, while Vaughn scored 18 points. That's the first time this season that Vaughn scored 15 or more points.
Madison's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 14-6. As for Marksville, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-13 record this season.
Madison's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Vidalia at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Vidalia has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Marksville, they will head out on the road to challenge Bunkie at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
