Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Dylan Sather stepped things up a notch to give Fairview the 'W'. Nobody could stop Sather as he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Fairview is undefeated when he allows at most two walks, but 2-4 otherwise.

Sather's strong effort led Fairview over Brooklyn and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are 9-1 against the Hurricanes going back to April of 2018, a lead they'll look to extend.
