District 9 Region 3 Top Player Performances of the Week

Big Game from Marfink As Sheffield Won 36-8
 Starting off the list is Sheffield's  Alex Marfink, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Marfink picked up  three  sacks and made 26 total tackles (5.0 for loss). Marfink is  crushing it when it comes to  total tackles: he's   made at least 19 every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Marfink must have Bucktail's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in August (the last time  Marfink saw the Bucks), he picked up  three  sacks and made 24 total tackles.

Jonah Ganoe's Rushing Yards a New Career-High
  Jonah Ganoe posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He rushed for 195 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 9.8 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 105  rushing yards.
 Smethport is  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-7. Ganoe and Smethport are taking a road trip to  take on Brockway  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.

Kamden Fragale Sets Career High in Rushing Yards
  Kamden Fragale posted a new career-high in  rushing yards  on Friday. He made five total tackles (2.0 for loss). He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 56 yards.
 The  victory (which was Cameron County's third in a row) raised their record to 6-2. Fragale will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant  effort when he faces off against Port Allegany on Friday.

Sheffield Gets a Boost from Barr in  36-8  Win
 Another Sheffield player making an appearance on this list is  Colby Barr. He rushed for 105 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. Barr is  crushing it when it comes to  rushing yards: he's   rushed for at least 101 every time he's  taken the field this season.
 Barr must have Bucktail's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in August (the last time  Barr saw the Bucks), he rushed for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only 13 carries, and also threw for 116 yards and a touchdown on only ten passes.

Malakai Zucal Delivers Electric  Performance Vs Smethport
 The second Cameron County player making an appearance here is  Malakai Zucal, and for good reason. He rushed for 112 yards, and also threw for 22 yards and a touchdown.
 Unfortunately for Smethport, this isn't the first big game they've seen from  Zucal. When  Zucal last faced the Hubbers  back in September, he rushed for 195 yards while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.
