After a string of seven wins, The Community School of Naples Seahawks''s good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a serious blow against First Baptist Academy, falling 42-2. Community School of Naples has struggled against First Baptist Academy recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
First Baptist Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ethan Crossan out in front who threw for 318 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 15.9 yards per attempt. Crossan is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last five games he's played. Jayden Petit was another key contributor, picking up 192 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Community School of Naples' defeat dropped their record down to 7-1. As for First Baptist Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.
Community School of Naples will head out on the road to face off against Evangelical Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Evangelical Christian is ranked 264th, while Community School of Naples is ranked 249th).
