After having lost a blowout to Van Buren in their previous game, Cardinal was happy to find some success on Friday. Cardinal took their game against Wayne 40-26. The success represented a nice turnaround for Cardinal, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-26 loss. The contest brought Cardinal to 0-1 and dropped Wayne to a mirror-image 1-0.
