The Crimson Cliffs Mustangs will face off against the Stansbury Stallions at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Last Thursday, Crimson Cliffs made easy work of Dixie and carried off a 3-0 win.
Crimson Cliffs walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-21.

Crimson Cliffs relied on the efforts of Nathan Dana, who had 16 assists and two aces, and Colsen Neal, who had 12 digs and one assist. Dana has been hot recently, having posted 12 or more assists the last four times he's played.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Stansbury had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over Cedar on Saturday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Stallions have posted since March 13th.
Stansbury took Cedar into a fifth set where they got it done with a eight-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-16, 19-25, 16-25, 15-7.
Crimson Cliffs better keep an eye on Gavyn Long. He was instrumental in Stansbury's win, getting seven digs and two aces. Those seven digs gave Long a new career-high. Spencer Kaufman was another key player, getting 18 assists and seven digs.
Stansbury's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Crimson Cliffs, they pushed their record up to 17-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.
