Don Lugo won a match that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by West Covina 41-40. Don Lugo didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.
Kalib Pacheco continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 503 yards and four touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Pacheco is on a roll when it comes to passing yards, as he's now passed for 300 or more in the last three games he's played. Don Lugo also got help from Gavin Hrynezuk who showed off his sure hands for 197 receiving yards.
Don Lugo's win bumped their record up to 3-6. As for West Covina, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

Claremont is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for West Covina, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chaffey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaffey is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
