The Middle Tennessee Christian Cougars posted their biggest victory since November 28, 2023 on Thursday. They blew past University School of Nashville 70-34 on the road. With that win, Middle Tennessee Christian brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.
Middle Tennessee Christian was led to victory by Anna clay Shirley and Madison Graham. Shirley scored 24 points along with five assists and two steals, while Graham scored 24 points along with three steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Graham has scored at least a third of Middle Tennessee Christian's points. Riley Smith was another key contributor, scoring five points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
The win got Middle Tennessee Christian back to even at 8-8. As for University School of Nashville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
Middle Tennessee Christian will head out on the road to take on Baylor at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for University School of Nashville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Dayspring Academy at 6:00 p.m.
