It was fun while it lasted, but Glen Lake's undefeated season came to an end after four games on Friday. They took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Frankfort Panthers. The loss was the Lakers' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Glen Lake fell to 4-1. As for Frankfort, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Glen Lake will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Charlevoix at 7:00 p.m. on December 30th. As for Frankfort, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against South Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. South Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Frankfort likes a good challenge.
