In what's become a running theme this season, Gilbert gave their fans yet another huge win on Thursday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 58-31 win over Swansea. The victory was familiar territory for Gilbert who now have three in a row.
Gilbert's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ahleira Leaphart, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and seven steals. Leaphart is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Blythe Price was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.
Crestwood's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8. As for Gilbert, their victory bumped their record up to 16-9.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Crestwood have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 26.2 rebounds per game.
