Framingham is 2-8 against Natick since November of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. After each having a week off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 10:00 a.m. Framingham will be strutting in after a win while Natick will be coming in after a loss.
Framingham took a loss when they played away from home on November 7th, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Holliston 34-7. The result was nothing new for the Flyers, who have now won three contests by 22 points or more so far this season.

Nicholas Nascimento Duarte produced another solid performance rushing for 174 yards and two TDs while picking up 9.2 yards per carry. He is becoming a predictor of Framingham's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).
Framingham's run defense was locked in: Holliston could only muster 2.2 yards per carry. While two picked up at least six total tackles, Kolven McBrayer stood above the rest. He made six total tackles and defended three passes in addition to snagging an interception. That's the most yards per carry they've posted since back in September of 2024.
Framingham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as McBrayer, Dylan Gold, and Vinicius Silva picked up one apiece. McBrayer is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as he's now defended at least one in each of the last three games he's played.
Meanwhile, Natick and Central Catholic squared off in some playoff action last Friday, but Natick had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Raiders by a score of 20-17.
Framingham will have to keep a close watch on Matt Caissie and Brandon Leshinski, a pair of players who had a big impact on Natick's prior game. Caissie threw for 257 yards and one touchdown, while Leshinski picked up 75 receiving yards and one score. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 50 yards.
Framingham pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 8.7 points on average over those games. As for Natick, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-3.
Thursday's game might be decided on the ground. Framingham has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 231.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Natick struggles in that department as they've been averaging 249.2 rushing yards. There's a good chance Thursday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.
