The St. John's/Tipton Catholic Blujays can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 50-22 win over Wakefield on the road. The win was just what St. John's/Tipton Catholic needed coming off of a 60-8 defeat in their prior match.
St. John's/Tipton Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ryder Allen, who picked up 113 receiving yards and four touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Another player making a difference was Edward Horinek, who threw for 209 yards and five touchdowns while completing 74.1% of his passes.
St. John's/Tipton Catholic's win bumped their record up to 2-6. As for Wakefield, their defeat was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.

As for Wakefield, they will head out on the road to face off against Axtell at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Axtell is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
