Victor Valley is 8-2 against Granite Hills since January of 2019, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. On Tuesday, Victor Valley didn't have too much trouble with Barstow on the road as they won 67-51.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Victor Valley to victory, but perhaps none more so than ISAIAH BUTLER, who scored 21 points. BUTLER hasn't dropped below 15points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was AXEL SOSA, who scored 15 points.
Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Granite Hills' good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 72-50 walloping at the hands of Adelanto. While losing is never fun, Granite Hills can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 636th, while Adelanto is ranked 303rd).
Victor Valley now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Granite Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-6.
