Classical Academy won the last time they faced La Jolla Country Day and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Caimans came out on top against the Torreys by a score of  8-3. The  victory was nothing new for the Caimans as they're now sitting on four straight.
 Eleri Evans was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  tossed three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   two  hits. Evans was also stellar in the batter's box,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with one  triple, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news,  Kalia Gonzalez was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI. Another player making a difference was  Sophie Subka, who  went 1-for-3 with one  triple, one  run,  and one  RBI.
Classical Academy pushed their record up to 9-8 with the  win, which was their fourth straight  at home. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for La Jolla Country Day,  they are  on  a  six-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 4-10.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Classical Academy will welcome Canyon Crest Academy  at 4:00  p.m.  on May 2. As for La Jolla Country Day, they will be playing at home against Orange Glen  at 4:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
