Troy put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Jefferson County North Chargers with a sharp 18-8 win. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won three contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Troy's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-0. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 14.5 runs this season. As for Jefferson County North, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coincidentally, Troy and Jefferson County North will both be playing Valley Falls the next time they take the field. Troy will head out to face Valley Falls at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, while Jefferson County North will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
