Rosman suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were beaten by Mitchell 78-29. Rosman was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-16.
Loss or not, Rosman got some senior leadership from Kaesyn Mccoy and Mason Meece. Mccoy scored 11 points along with five steals, while Meece. scored 14 points. That was a full 37.9% of Rosman's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Meanwhile, Avery County pushed their score all the way to 69 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 75-69 hit to the loss column at the hands of Owen. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Friday (67), Avery County still had to take the loss.
Rosman has been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-11 record this season. As for Avery County, their loss dropped their record down to 4-11.
