Hobgood Academy's Greg "GJ" Mullins rumbled for the longest rushing play in NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) this season in his game against Arendell Parrott Academy last week. Mullins ran for 79 yards on the play and finished with 349 on the day as his team bested the Patriots.
Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Southampton Academy beat Halifax Academy 48-14. The victory was the ninth in a row for the team.
Mullins was a force in the backfield as Hobgood Academy bested Arendell Parrott Academy.
Mullins was a passing and rushing force as Brandon Lanier's team topped Matt Beaman's team.
Chase Howard put up the best numbers in passing as the Patriots lost to the Raiders. He finished with a total of 3 completions for 43 yards and 2 touchdowns.
Arendell Parrott Academy's Jack Huddle and Caleb Quinn led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Huddle has thrown for 715 yards this season, while Quinn has 37 catches for 597 yards. Hobgood Academy's Mullins leads the league in rushing yards with 2,591.
The most important game in NCISAA Colonial Carolina (8 Man) this week will be the match up between the Vikings and the Patriots. Halifax Academy comes into the matchup ranked fifth in the state, while Arendell Parrott Academy ranks fourth.
