The Leyton Warriors's four-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 50-23 win over Bayard at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Leyton has managed all season.
Leyton's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Bayard, they bumped their record down to 3-10 with that loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Leyton won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Potter-Dix on January 12th. Hopefully Potter-Dix focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Tuesday. Bayard will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Minatare on January 25th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nebraska (Minatare is ranked 255th, while Bayard is ranked 254th).
