LaBelle can finally bid farewell to their seven-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They blew past the Riverdale Raiders 49-9. The Cowboys/Cowgirls' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

LaBelle's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Riverdale, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. LaBelle won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Moore Haven at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Moore Haven is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 53 points per game this season. As for Riverdale, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on South Fort Myers at 12:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
