Clifton is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bergen Tech, their loss dropped their record down to 9-9.
Bergen Tech took their victory against Clifton in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 7-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Knights since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
