While losing is never fun, Lee can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1387th, while the Cougars are ranked 432nd).
Savannah Mckinnerney had an outrageously good game for Crosby as she dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten steals. It was the first time this season that Mckinnerney scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Emony Destin, who scored eight points along with two steals.
Lee's defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Crosby, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-11.
Lee will be playing at home against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crosby, they will head out on the road to face off against the Titans at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
