If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for Pickford. They will challenge Cedarville on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Cedarville will need to watch out since Pickford have now posted big point totals in their last eight contests.
Last Friday, Pickford put the finishing touches on their 7th blowout victory of the season. They took the match and then some with a 56-0 win over Brimley. Junior Matthew Bush and junior Jimmy Storey were among the main playmakers for Pickford as the former rushed for 61 yards and 3 touchdowns and the latter picked up 60 yards on the ground and accumulated 121 passing yards. That makes it eight straight good games in a row from Storey.
Meanwhile, Cedarville had enough points to win and then some against Rudyard, taking their contest 26-6.
Everything came up roses for Pickford against Cedarville the last time the two teams met as the squad secured a 47-8 victory. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
