Garrett came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Fort Wayne Snider Panthers as they made off with a 17-4 win. Considering the Railroaders have won nine matchups by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jayiden Feicht, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Remi Winebrenner, who went 3-for-4 with three runs and two RBI.

Garrett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .571. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Garrett pushed their record up to 20-8 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Garrett and Fort Wayne Snider are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Railroaders will take on Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they will square off against Fort Wayne North Side at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
