Faith Christian's tournament run continued when they took on Venture Academy on Saturday. The Faith Christian Lions blew past the Venture Academy Mustangs 71-29. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Faith Christian was led to victory by Lauren Harris and Presley Berry. Harris dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten boards, while Berry went 8 of 16 on her way to 23 points. That makes it six consecutive games in which Harris has scored at least a third of Faith Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mia Bryan, who posted eight points.

Faith Christian smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive boards in four consecutive contests.

Faith Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Venture Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Faith Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 56-34 win against River Valley on the 17th. As for Venture Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 45-30 defeat against Orestimba on the 17th.
