Pleasanton barely beat Devine the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Pleasanton was the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over Devine on Tuesday. Jayden Arrendondo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off five hits. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.

Nick Flores made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up four earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Flores was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Pleasanton's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-3. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 9.3 runs. As for Somerset, the win got them back to even at 9-9.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Pleasanton has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .498. However, it's not like Somerset struggles in that department as they've averaged .432. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Pleasanton skirted past Somerset 2-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Does Pleasanton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Somerset turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
