After two games on the road, Sandwich is heading back home. They will take on Mashpee on Thursday after a week off. Each week has meant fewer and fewer points for Sandwich in their past three games, so Mashpee might be catching them at a good time.
It's never fun to lose, and it even less fun to lose 48-7, which was the final score in Sandwich's tilt against Middleborough two weeks ago. This was a playoff contest, so the blow was especially dispiriting for the Blue Knights.
Meanwhile, Mashpee strolled past Bellingham with points to spare, taking the game 22-6.
