Easton Area hasn't had much luck against Parkland recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Rovers will challenge the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Easton Area will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Easton Area's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They walked away with a 4-0 win over Bethlehem Catholic.

Audrey Rinda was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out 19 over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Kailyn Castellano, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she launched this season.
Meanwhile, Parkland made easy work of Allentown Central Catholic on Monday and carried off an 11-1 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by eight runs or more this season.
Like Easton Area, Parkland also got a great game from a two-way player: Allison Hunsberger. On the mound, she struck out seven batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Hunsberger was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in RBI (three).
In other batting news, Parkland let Anna Belletieri and Ami Patel run wild. Belletieri scored three runs while going 4-for-4, while Patel scored two runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Those four hits gave Belletieri a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Scerena Reed, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.
Parkland hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in three consecutive matchups.
Easton Area now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Parkland, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Parkland's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Easton Area has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 13.7 strikeouts per game.
