Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Lynn Classical

Lynn Classical had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. Everything went their way against the Somerville Highlanders as they made off with a 24-9 win. That's two games straight that the Rams have won by exactly 15 runs.

Lynn Classical got a massive performance out of Emma Chevalier, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one triple. That's the most stolen bases Chevalier has posted since back in April of 2025. Another player making a difference was Brooke Braswell, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Lynn Classical kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in six consecutive contests.

Lynn Classical's victory bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Somerville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lynn Classical will welcome Malden at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Somerville, they will square off against Rockport at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
