The Bradford Owls lost against the Warren Dragons two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The New Year welcomed Bradford with a 80-45 whooping from Warren. Bradford has not had much luck with Warren recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Warren got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Braylon Barnes out in front who made all 6 shots he took from beyond the arc racking up 26 points and 2 assists. Tommy Nyquist was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 12 assists.
Bradford bumped their record down to 4-5 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Warren, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 10-0.
Bradford will be playing in front of their home fans against St. Marys at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully St. Marys focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Wednesday. As for Warren, they will head out on the road to face off against Erie at 7:30 p.m. on January 11th.
