The Hale Center Owls entered their tilt with the Floydada Whirlwinds with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Hale Center secured a 65-60 W over Floydada on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Perhaps the best among them was Tyrean Henderson, who scored 21 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Trevino, who scored ten points along with six steals and five assists.

Hale Center will be playing at home against Ralls at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Ralls will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings (they are ranked 1304th, while Hale Center is ranked 575th). As for Floydada, they will head out on the road to square off against Sudan at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
