The Martin County Tigers are still undefeated this season after their game against the Treasure Coast Titans on Thursday, but the Treasure Coast Titans came as close as anyone has to beating them. Martin County was led to victory by Becca Witt and Karolina Ramirez. Witt dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds, while Ramirez scored 14 points. Ramirez is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season.
Several Titans players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ariel Horne, who scored 11 points. Those 11 points set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Jade Ware, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Martin County's win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for Treasure Coast, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martin County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Dwyer at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Dwyer will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 211th, while Martin County is ranked 30th). Treasure Coast and Centennial will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Centennial is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.2 points per game.
