Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Emery to victory, but perhaps none more so than Katelyn Nielson, who went 5-for-8 to rack up 14 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kabree Gordon, who posted 14 points.
Despite the loss, Grantsville still got an impressive performance from Avery Allred, who had 22 points along with seven boards and four steals. Allred's big performance that afternoon made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Baylee Lowder, who put up three points in addition to ten rebounds and five steals.
Emery pushed their record up to 16-10 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.7 points over those games. As for Grantsville, their loss ended a 23-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-2.
