Given Westminster Christian Academy's advantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Grace Christian is ranked 221st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Westminster Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Brock Stomps led the charge by scoring 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Andres, who scored 15 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Westminster Christian Academy and bumps their season record up to 2-0. As for Grace Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Westminster Christian Academy will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Gueydan at 5:00 p.m. Grace Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on False River at 5:00 p.m. on December 12th.
