There's no place like home for the Hamilton County Foxes, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Monday. They secured a 58-54 W over Benton on Thursday. For Hamilton County, this counts as revenge for the 36-19 loss Benton walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2022.
Hamilton County found their leader in underclassman Rayci Phelps, who almost dropped a double-double on 27 points and nine rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Phelps has scored at least a third of Hamilton County's points. Kalin Nichols was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five assists.
Hamilton County's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Benton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-18.
Hamilton County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Benton also has no future games currently scheduled.
