The RHAM Raptors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their third straight loss. They fell to Manchester 63-58. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Manchester got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tiara Tyson out in front who scored 23 points along with two steals and two blocks. That makes it ten consecutive games in which Tyson has scored at least a third of Manchester's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elise Ryan, who went 6 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 22 points and 1 assist.
RHAM has been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-9 record this season. As for Manchester, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. RHAM will take on Maloney at 6:45 p.m. on Friday. Manchester won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Enfield at 5:15 p.m. on January 12th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Connecticut (Enfield is ranked 45th, while Manchester is ranked 61st).
