Killingly won against Norwich Free Academy last Friday with 63 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Trailbazers blew past the Waterford Lancers 63-28. Killingly had a senior duo take command as Hayden Allard rushed for 209 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 9.1 yards per carry and Joseph Mackie rushed for 160 yards and four TDs on only ten carries. Those 160 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for Mackie. Payton Wallace did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 83 receiving yards.
Killingly was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 393 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 252 rushing yards in three consecutive games.
